WIXOM, Mich. – 
A law enforcement task force leading the investigation into 24 roadway shootings between Oct. 16 and Oct. 27 along Michigan's eastern Interstate 96 corridor has released images of a man they believe could be a witness.
Investigators say they would like to speak to the man who was captured on surveillance video Oct. 27 at a Mobil gas station in Brighton. The vehicle which may belong to this man is a black 2008 Chevrolet Malibu.

"We just want to interview this man and talk to him about his business at that location on that day," said Wixom Police Chief Clarence Goodlein. "He may very well have seen something that we are interested in. We think it's valuable to talk to him and we hope that he contacts us, or if anyone knows who is we hope that they'll contact us and tell us who he is."
The shootings have been reported along the corridor between Ingham County and Oakland County. Several vehicles have been struck by bullets. A man was shot Saturday on I-96 in Fowlerville.
The task force believes the suspect, described as a clean-shaven white man in his late 20s or early 30s, spends a lot of time in the areas where the shootings have been reported.
Police have not made any arrests in this case. They urge the public to continue providing potential useful information.
The FBI and ATF boosted a reward for information leading to an arrest or conviction to $102,000.
