The extremely enticing Powerball prize is now at a staggering $600 million. It’s become the second largest jackpot in U.S. history.  The only multi-state jackpot in the U.S. that was larger was the Mega Millions jackpot in March 2012, which reached $656 million before it was split by three winning tickets.

Odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are about 1 in 175 million, but it’s $600 million, so that shouldn’t be intimidating. Everyone is talking about what they’ll do if they are the lucky winners.

There’s still time to join the $600 million dollar hunt.  The next drawing is Saturday night. Tune into Local 4 at 11 p.m. for the numbers.
