DETROIT – This is D-day for Detroit Tiger All-Star short stop Jhonny Peralta.
All indications point to Peralta testing positive for using performance enhancing drugs.
An announcement is expected to come at noon from Major League Baseball regarding suspensions for Peralta and 13 other major league players.
Peralta is expected to be issued a 50-game suspension, which he won't appeal.
"If he did the deed, he's got to pay the price," said Tiger fan Bob Knowles from Holly.
If Peralta was cheating, has he cheated his team?
The Tigers are on a hot streak and owner Mike Ilitch has spent millions of dollars trying to win a championship.

The biggest player in the scandal is New York Yankee's slugger Alex Rodriquez. He stands to lose a big chunk of his $275 million contract, the biggest ever in American sports.
He is scheduled to play for the Yankees tonight.
"If he's in there, I'm gonna play him. That's the latest situation," said Yankee manager Joe Girardi.
The league is expected to give Rodriguez the stiffest penalty – 200 games. That penalty would keep him off the field for 200 games.
If his suspension stands, he will lose about 34-million but still have 61-million-dollars owed to him beginning 2015.
Rodriguez is reportedly linked to the same south Florida clinic that ensnared former MVP Ryan Braun, whose season-ending suspension was announced last month.
