In honor of National Skyscraper Day on Thursday, take a look at which buildings are the tallest in the world.

The Makkah Royal Clock Tower Hotel in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, is the world's second tallest building at a height of 1,972 feet. Part of a complex known as Abraj Al-Bait Towers, the central hotel building can also lay claim to the world's largest clock face.
