Bruckman said the gunman took five boxes, which each had 150 cartons inside of Marlboros, Newports and other top brands.

The value of the stolen cigarettes was more than $11,000, Bruckman said.

"We believe it's a team, at least two men who have done this before," he added. "I doubt this was random, the way it was organized."

Bruckman said store at Masonic and Harper was full of customers -- and employees saw the gunman with the dolly, but thought mistakenly thought it was the deliveryman's partner.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

Police have released the following description of the gunman: A white male, 6 feet tall, weighing 190 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, black baseball cap and had a black bandana/rag over his face.

He was seen fleeing the robbery in a 2006-2009 light colored, possibly gray, Infinity M45.

This 7-11 does not have a surveillance system set up on the outside of the store.
