WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Three masked thieves used a boulder to smash their way into a Washington Township jewelry store early Friday morning.

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said surveillance video shows the trio smash out the front door of J&M Jewelry on 26 Mile Road just after 3 a.m.

The thieves used hammers to break into four jewelry cases.

Wickersham said the thieves were in and out of the store in under a minute -- 58 seconds. He didn't give a value on how much was stolen.

They were all wearing hooded sweatshirts and gloves.

No other descriptions were released.
