HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

Three men from Detroit were arrested for allegedly stealing a set of tires from a Dodge Charger in Harrison Township and then leading police on a chase.

Kamauri Kennedy, 24, Ventrous Stewart, 22, and John Williams-Tait, 23, were arrested and charged with larceny from a motor vehicle along with fleeing and resisting arrest.

Sheriff Deputies received a call from a resident who saw the men steal tires from the car parked inside the Harrison Cove Condominiums before climbing into their car and driving off on Jefferson.

Deputies responded and attempted to stop the car when a chase ensued onto I-94.

Eventually, stop-sticks were used to flatten the tires on the fleeing car near 12 Mile Road.

The men then fled on foot and police from St. Clair Shores and Roseville helped deputies catch all three suspects.

One suspect resisted and was subdued with a stun-gun, police say.

The set of stolen wheels and tires were recovered.

All three men were arraigned at the 41-B District Court of Clinton Township and bond was set at $10,000 each.
