DETROIT – A tree trimmer died Friday afternoon after a fall on Detroit’s west side.
The incident happened on Margareta Avenue and Stoepel Street.
The tree trimmer was a contractor doing work for the city when a branch hit the bucket he was in and he suffered a fall. He was knocked unconscious and taken to the hospital with a head injury where he was pronounced dead.
