Truck hits, kills pedestrian on Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Bloomfield Township police are looking for witnesses to an accident Thursday night that claimed life of a pedestrian.

Police said a truck was going southbound on Telegraph near Bataan Drive just before 9 p.m. when it hit the pedestrian, who was in the roadway.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police said alcohol and speed are not factors in the accident.

The victim's name isn't yet being released.
