'Trumpmobile' vandalized, hundreds of Trump signs stolen in Walled Lake

29 days until presidential election

WALLED LAKE, Mich. – There are only 29 days left until the presidential election, and campaign vandalism is in full swing.

Hundreds of Donald Trump signs were stolen in Walled Lake, and the mascot of Trump's campaign office was vandalized. The 'Trumpmobile' was mangled Monday night and somebody put a lot of work into the damage.

Despite the vandalism, the Walled Lake Trump campaign crew was out in force Tuesday night, doing one of its flash mobs along Pontiac Trail. But when they arrived at the campaign office Tuesday, they discovered that someone had tried very hard to break into the camper. They said those responsible were unsuccessful.

But the damage to the vehicle isn't all that concerned police, who said hundreds of signs were stolen off lawns across Walled Lake.

"Within the month, I've had four signs out," Kathy Kubik said. "And they took them."

The annual stealing of signs seems to be ramping up as the election draws nearer.
