TSA: Detroit airport employee had loaded gun

ROMULUS, Mich. – An employee who works at one of the shops inside the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport was arrested Sunday when she was caught with a loaded gun passing through an airport checkpoint, the Transportation Security Administration said.

In a statement, TSA said the .38 caliber handgun, loaded with five rounds, was found in the employee's bag as it went through an X-ray machine.

Wayne County Airport police arrested the employee on a weapons charge. Her name has not been released.
