Two men charged in connection with WSU murder

Tiane Brown's body found Wednesday near site of old Packard Plant

DETROITProsecutor Kym L. Worthy has charged Michael Booker, 41,of Detroit and Robert Windsor, 34, connection with Wayne State University law student Tiane Brown, 34 of Waterford.

Brown had been reported missing by her parents when she failed to pick up her children on Monday.  On Wednesday, October 30, 2013, Tiane Brown's body was discovered at the Packard Plant on East Grand Boulevard and Frontenac at approximately 11:30 a.m.
It is alleged that Michael Booker committed the following crimes: Tampering with Evidence, Larceny from a Motor Vehicle, Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property, Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle under $ 1,000 and two counts of Assault and Battery (93 day misdemeanor).

It is alleged that Windsor committed Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property under $1000.
Booker and Windsor are expected to be arraigned by video in 34th District Court in Romulus at 11:00 a.m. on November 2,  2013.
No further details will be released because the police investigation is continuing in this matter.
