Two stabbed during Port Huron home invasion

Victims critical after stabbings on 1400 block of 6th Street

PORT HURON, Mich. – Port Huron police say a home invasion ended Saturday morning with two people stabbed.

The victims were a 27-year-old resident of Port Huron and a 26-year-old Detroit resident.

Police say both victims suffered multiple wounds and one victim was stabbed in the neck.

They were transported to the hospital where their condition was last listed as critical.

The stabbings happened just after 12:30 a.m. on the 1400 block of 6th Street.

A 36-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, both from Detroit, are in police custody at this time.

Police say the crime wasn't random and it appears the victims and suspects know each other.
