ANN ARBOR, Mich. - University of Michigan campus police said they've identified and talked with a man who was allegedly approaching female students on North Campus and kissing them.

Police said Thursday that although they had explained to the man that his behavior was disturbing, no crimes had been committed.

He has been asked to refrain from similar behavior.

What happened:

Police had been looking into several reported incidents involving the man.

Police said they have had several women come forward since April 19 with similar descriptions of a man who has gone up to them and asked for dates -- even kissing them.

The incidents happened around Bursley, Baits and the North Campus Recreation building.
