University of Michigan changes football games ticket pricing policy

Dynamic pricing will adjust prices for different reasons at Michigan Stadium

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Michigan is changing the way it sets ticket prices for its football games at Michigan Stadium.

The university is coming out with a dynamic ticket pricing system for single-game ticket sales.

Under the plan, the price of seats could change under certain conditions.

Prices would be influenced by the team's performance.

They can be adjusted for the performance of the visiting team.

Weather forecasts could influence ticket prices, as well as the remaining inventory of tickets in particular sections of the stadium.

The policy will take effect this year, with the first game Aug. 31 against Central Michigan.
