Video shows armed robbery at ATM in Detroit

Police seek 2 men shown in surveillance video

DETROIT – Surveillance video captured a robbery Sept. 23 at an ATM outside a bank in the 10700 block of Gratiot Avenue in Detroit.

A woman pulled up her vehicle to the ATM and began to make a cash withdrawal. Meanwhile, two men exited a gold GMC Yukon that was parked just a couple car spaces away at another ATM.

The men approached the woman's vehicle and one of them pointed a gun at her face. They demanded her money. She threw money out the windrow and quickly drove away. The men scrambled to pick up the cash and ran back to their vehicle. They fled in an unknown direction.

The men are both described as black and in their 20s. One is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a blue hoody and brown pants. He was armed with a handgun. The other man is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 190s pounds. He was wearing a black hoody and black pants.

Police also are searching for a third person, but they do not have a description.
