Video shows Golden Corral food stored near trash

Viral video was uploaded by an employee of the chain

Filmed by Brandon Huber, an employee at a Golden Corral in Port Orange, Fla., the shocking video shows what appears to be raw hamburger patties, baby back ribs, chicken, and bacon - all next to an outdoor dumpster. There are even flies near some of the meat.

Huber says the restaurant was hiding the food during a health inspection. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human services, meat that is stored at temperatures warmer than 40 degrees for two hours or more can carry bacteria and cause food borne illnesses.

Golden Corral denies everything: a statement posted to their Facebook page claims "the food in the video was never served to a single customer". Eric Holm, who owns the Golden Corral where the video was shot, said the manger of the restaurant was fired for improper food-handling procedures.
