TV and live stream

Live coverage of Trump's inauguration will begin at 10 a.m. on WDIV Local 4 and ClickOnDetroit.com. The inauguration ceremony is expected to start at 11:30 a.m., and Trump is expected to take the Oath of Office at noon. NBC coverage will continue on WDIV until 4 p.m. 

Schedule Changes 

Inauguration coverage will run on WDIV from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, preempting regularly scheduled shows, including Live in the D and Local 4 News at Noon. 

What to expect 

The inauguration will take place on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, with musical performances beginning at 9:30 a.m. “America's Got Talent” singer Jackie Evancho, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, the Talladega College marching band and the Rockettes are scheduled to perform.

After Trump is sworn into office he'll make his inaugural address, inspected the Armed Forces and then parade from the Capitol down Pennsylvania Avenue.
