Warren man facing child porn charges

WARREN, Mich. – A Warren man is charged with videotaping boys changing at public locker rooms after his employee discovered videos of himself on a thumb drive, according to a federal criminal complaint.

Timothy Kenneth Decker is accused of producing child pornography and possessing child pornography.

According to the complaint, a 20-year-old man who worked for Decker at his party rental business went to the Warren Police Department in August after he was found videos on a thumb drive of boys changing into bathing suits in a public locker room. The complaint details that Decker is seen in the videos positioning the angle of the camera.

The 20-year-old also found videos of himself changing at age 14 and sleeping naked at age 18. He was unaware of the videos existence.

The victim had worked for Decker for eight years and found numerous videos on Decker’s home computer, according to the complaint. He confronted Decker and Decker wrote out an agreement for the victim not to go to police in exchange for payment of bills and a tattoo, the complaint said.

After a computer went missing, the victim contacted police.

Warren police executed a search warrant at Decker’s residence on no additional evidence was found.
