BOSTON – A jury has sentenced Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to death.
The verdict was announced Friday afternoon in Federal District Court.

Tsarnaev and his older brother, Tamerlan, exploded two pressure cooker bombs near the finish line of the 2013 Boston Marathon, killing five and injuring another 280.
Four days after the bombing, Tamerlan was killed during police pursuit of the Tsarnaev brothers. Dzhokhar was apprehended and found guilty on all 30 counts related to the bombing last month.
