Waterford – The Waterford Fire Marshal is investigating a deadly house fire that claimed the life of a 47-year-old man late Friday night.
Family and neighbors tell Local 4 the victim, David Sikorski, moved to the home on Panama Drive only a few years ago. They say he was a former Red Wings draft pick but never played for the team.

The cause of the fire is still unknown at this time. Investigators believe the fire started in the kitchen.
