WATERFORD, Mich. - Waterford police have released pictures of a man who was caught on tape taking a wallet that had been left behind at a fast food restaurant.

Police said a 24-year-old man reported accidentally forgetting his wallet April 29 at a Burger King on Dixie Highway. He went back, but it was gone.

A review of security cameras showed a man in his late 40s or early 50s swiping the wallet off the counter and leaving with it, police said.

The alleged theft left the restaurant in a late model GMC Sonoma or Chevy S-10 green truck.
