Waterford police seek witnesses to fatal crash on Highland Road

92-year-old dies in crash

WATERFORD, Mich. – Waterford police are looking for witnesses to a fatal crash that happened Wednesday afternoon on Highland Road.

Police said the 58-year-old driver of a Ford Escape pulled out of a driveway near Laurel  Valley Drive onto Highland Road and hit a Jeep.

The driver of the Escape and a 92-year-old passenger, Rose Rozanski, were taken to the hospital. Rozanski died from her injuries.

The driver of the Jeep, a 38-year-old Waterford woman, was not hurt.

Police said the victims were wearing seat belts and alcohol wasn't a factor in the crash.
