Wayne County Sheriff Benny N. Napoleon to submit signed petitions for Detroit mayoral candidacy

Napoleon's campaign to submit more than 1000 signatures

DETROIT - Standing with more than 2,000 Detroiters in support of him, Wayne County Sheriff Benny N. Napoleon, Esq, announced his candidacy for Mayor of the city of Detroit on March 26.

Friday the Sheriff will submit signed petitions to the Department of Elections in order to become an official candidate in the race for Mayor of Detroit. The City Charter mandates that all citywide candidates submit at least 500 signatures from registered Detroit voters.

Napoleon's campaign will be submitting over 1,000 signatures, which is the maximum allowed.
