DETROIT - As you'll see below, we are at the beginning of a steady downward temperature spiral, which will culminate with sub-zero temperatures by the end of next week.
We'll start our Saturday with mostly sunny skies, and partly cloudy skies developing for part of the day. While it'll still be a breezy day, it won't be nearly as windy as Friday, with southwest winds at 15 to 20 mph. Highs in the mid 30s (our last day above freezing for a while -- read on).

Mostly sunny on Sunday, with some clouds building in during the mid to late afternoon. Highs in the mid 20s.
Mostly sunny to partly cloudy on Monday. Highs in the low 20s. There's a chance for some light snow Monday night, but this isn't a big storm...perhaps a fresh light coating for us.
Tuesday looks partly cloudy, with highs in the low 20s.
There's a chance for light snow showers Wednesday and Thursday, with highs only in the teens, and overnight lows in the single number.
The sun returns on Friday, but it's purely cosmetic sunshine, as the day will begin around -5, and highs struggling to make it out of the low teens.
