DETROIT – A new report by the website gasbuddy.com reveals there is a best day for drivers in Michigan to buy gas.
They tracked trends over the last four years to find which day of the week had the cheapest gas.

The study found in Michigan, gas prices tend to be the lowest on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Several other states also had the best prices on weekends.
"Surprisingly, many states see the lowest gasoline prices for the week during the weekend, which may come as a surprise to many motorists," said Patrick DeHaan, senior petroleum analyst with GasBuddy.com.
