Wendy's has fired an employee caught guzzling soft-serve ice cream right out of the Frosty machine.
A photo of the worker, his mouth wide open as vanilla soft serve pours down his throat, went viral after being posted to Reddit on Wednesday.
"I was going to buy a frosty from Wendy's until I saw the employee do this," the Reddit poster wrote.
Bob Bertini, a spokesman for Wendy's, told the New York Daily News that the employee involved in the incident is no longer with the restaurant.
"We don't know the exact date the photo was taken, but we believe in it was in May," Bertini wrote in an email. "The incident was totally inappropriate, and we're taking it very seriously."
The incident comes not long after a photo of a Taco Bell employee licking a stack of taco shells also went viral online, resulting in that worker being fired.
