WESTLAND, Mich. – Residents in a Westland neighborhood were forced to evacuate from their homes by police and SWAT after gunshots rang out from a home Wednesday night.
Police put up crime tape late Wednesday at the London Townhomes at Middlebelt and Ann Arbor Trail but they've given little information as to why their guns were drawn as people were ordered out of their homes.
Early Thursday morning, a woman's body was removed from the home, but it's unclear how she died.
No other information was immediately released.
