CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A man is accused of robbing and raping an 80-year-old woman at the Heritage Estates senior living condominiums in Clinton Township.
The woman was in court Monday to testify in front of the man, William Harrison.

She said Harrison broke into her room while she was sleeping. He demanded she tell him where she kept her jewelry. Before he left with items from her room, the man raped her, she said.
Harrison was bound over on sexual assault and home invasion charges. He is scheduled to appear in circuit court. If convicted, he could be sentenced to life in prison.
