WATERFORD, Mich. – The woman who plead guilty to stealing a 90-year-old woman's purse from a Waterford Meijer in July was sentenced Thursday.
50-year-old Deborah Simmons pleaded guilty to larceny, illegal use of a financial transaction device and larceny in a building.
An Oakland County Circuit Court judge sentenced Simmons to 3 to 15 years in prison. Simmons isn't new to being in trouble with the law - she has a lengthy criminal record.

The internet was abuzz with surveillance images of Simmons walking out of the Meijer on Highland Road - with the victim's purse in hand.
Simmons turned herself in on August 31st.
