FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – A 62-year-old woman from West Bloomfield was killed Thursday after she was struck by a car in Farmington Hills.
According to police, the woman and a man were driving north on Haggerty Road near 12 Mile Road at 11:45 p.m. when they rear-ended another car.
The man was injured in the car and the woman got out of the car. She was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross 12 Mile Road outside of the crosswalk, police said, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is an ongoing investigation.
