Woman kidnapped, drugged then raped in Detroit

21-year-old woman forced in car at gunpoint, forced to take pills before rape

DETROIT – A 21-year-old woman was kidnapped, drugged and sexually assaulted in Detroit.

The woman was waiting for a bus near 7 Mile and Outer Drive roads around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the police report, a man driving an Pontiac Grand Am pulled up and forced her into the car at gunpoint.

The man drove her to Hoover Road and pulled off into an alley.

The victim told police she was forced to take 15 to 20 pills before the man raped her.

After the assault the man held the victim in his car for 30 minutes before driving and setting her free at Rowe Avenue and 7 Mile Road.

The suspect was described as a white man with a buzz hair cut and a goatee.

He was said to be 5-foot-9 and around 180 pounds and was wearing a dirty, tan Carhartt jacket and black hat.

The victim told police she could see what looked like car parts in the suspect's car.

Police continue to investigate.
