Woman pulls gun over coupon

Florida woman irate after being told she couldn't use Internet coupon

Some people will do anything to save a dollar, but one woman went to extremes at a Walmart in Florida.

Mary Alday, 61, is accused of pulling a gun on Walmart employees in Crawfordville after they told her she couldn't use an Internet coupon, Tallahassee TV station WTXL reported.

According to a Walkulla County sheriff's report, Alday initially swore at the manager and intentionally hit her with her shopping cart.

She was escorted out of the store, but then went to her car, grabbed a loaded gun and walked back into the store waving it around at the manager and three other employees, police said.

Alday was later arrested during a traffic stop in which police had to use a stun gun to get her out of the vehicle, WTXL reported.

She was charged with four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one count of battery, one count of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence.
