PONTIAC, Mich. - A mother walking with her young daughter Wednesday in Pontiac had a gun put to her head by two men who also stole her necklace, the Oakland County Sheriff's Office said.

The 39-year-old woman was with her 11-year-old in the 200 block of Vernon walking back from the grocery store when the two men came up from behind.

One of the men ripped off the woman's necklace before taking off.

The mother and daughter were not hurt but authorities weren't able to find the men in the area.
