MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – A woman armed with a semi-automatic pistol robbed a bank in Madison Heights on Thursday.
Police have released several surveillance pictures from the robbery, which happened just before 5 p.m. at the Flagstar Bank at 31409 Dequindre Road.

Police said no one was hurt, but the robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money, which she put in a black purse.
Police describe the robber as white, in her 40s, with long blond hair, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 170 pounds, with a silver grill on her teeth.
She was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, blue pants and sunglasses.
