TAYLOR, Mich. – A police cruiser was involved in a crash Monday afternoon with a wrong-way driver in Taylor.
The crash happened at the corner of Telegraph and Northline roads.

According to police, there were two officers in the vehicle heading northbound on Telegraph Road when an elderly woman was going the wrong way in the southbound lanes. The officers turned into the intersection at Northline Road and the woman’s vehicle struck the police cruiser on the driver side of the patrol car.
Both officers and the woman were taken to the hospital.
Taylor police are reviewing the crash.
