YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 38-year-old Ypsilanti Township father is expected to be charged after his 6-month-old son was sent to the hospital for head trauma.
The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called to the University of Michigan Hospital on Sunday when doctors reported the alleged abuse on the boy.

The boy remains in critical condition.
The father was arrested and is expected to be arraigned on Tuesday.
