YPSILANTI, Mich. -

A woman who had been reported abducted early Monday morning from her Ypsilanti home has been found safe.

Police said 25-year-old Farrah Nicole Cook was able to get away from her ex-boyfriend, 27-year-old Jeremy Abston, who allegedly forced her into a car just before 6 a.m. and took off.

Police are still actively searching for Abston.

Family members told Local 4 that the mother of three was pulled into the car outside her home in the 500 block of Hamilton Street.

Police had said Cook's abduction was caught on the apartment complex's security cameras.

Police said Abston may be driving a dark blue or black Pontiac Bonneville -- and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police said they are also looking for two other people who could have been accomplices, but have not released any further information on them.

If anyone has information on Abston's whereabouts, they are asked to call police at 734-482-9878 or Crime Stoppers at 800-SPEAK-UP.
