Gorilla brothers reunited after two years in English zoo

Pictures of emotional reunion have gone viral on internet

WILTSHIRE, England – Pictures of two silverback gorilla brothers reuniting at a zoo in England have become a worldwide sensation on the internet.

Kesho, 13, and  Alf, 9, had not seen each other for two years after being separated so that Kesho could be part of a breeding program at the London Zoo.

After Kesho failed in the breeding shed, the gorilla brothers were reunited at the Longleaf Safari Park in Wiltshire, England.

The pictures show the two gorillas hugging, holding each other and playing for hours.

"They were touching each other through the cage that temporarily separated them," Longleat zookeeper Mark Tye said, "We put them together 24 hours later and it was like they had never been apart."
