Nearly half of dog owners spend $50 a month on their animals, according to a survey from CouponCabin.com. Less than 40 percent of cat owners spend $50 a month on their pets.
Nearly a quarter of pet owners fess up to holding or attending a birthday celebration for an animal. That number is also higher for dog owners than cat owners.
