Students in 6th through 12th grades throughout Metro Detroit are encouraged to enter the contest by submitting a video about bullying.

The goal of the contest is to raise the consciousness of not only children, but teachers, administrators and parents to the reality of bullying and how each of them has to step up and be a part of solving this problem. If more young people were to take a stand against bullying, then the phenomenon would likely diminish over time.

Make a 30 second Public Service Announcement about the problem of bullying. Here are some questions to inspire your video production. Please do not use licensed music or questionable language.

1. What is bullying?
2. How can you stop a bully?
3. What should you do if you are being bullied?
4. How does bullying make you feel?

We are looking for the most creative and thought provoking entries that address ways to deal with the bullying problem. The messages can target kids and/or adults.
