Devin Scillian wins Edward R. Murrow Award for writing

Local 4 would like to congratulate Devin Scillian upon his reception of an Edward R. Murrow Award for his writing.

Here at Local 4 we have known Scillian is one of the best writers in the business for years. Now, journalists around the world agree.

He won the award for his story on Ian Raber, the 16-year-old whose heart stopped after being hit by a baseball in the chest.

Scillian also has been recognized for his writing on his weekly show Flashpoint (Sunday mornings on Local 4).

The Edward R. Murrow Award is one of journalism's highest honors.
