Culpepper, Addai, Sanders On Inactive List

Shoulder Injury Blames For Culpepper's Absence

POSTED: Sunday, December 14, 2008

Detroit quarterback Daunte Culpepper was among the inactive players for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Culpepper injured his right shoulder late in the first half against Minnesota last week and his status for the Colts was in doubt after he underwent an MRI. Dan Orlovsky was listed as the starter against the Colts, with Drew Stanton as backup and Drew Henson as the third quarterback.

The Colts' inactives included running back Joseph Addai, who also injured his right shoulder last week against Cincinnati, and safety Bob Sanders, who returned last week after missing eight games earlier in the season with a knee injury.

Linebacker Tyjuan Hagler also was inactive for Indianapolis because of a knee injury. Center Jeff Saturday, who missed the past two games with a left calf injury, was activated for the game.
