London has been really good so far.
The fans, the athletes and random people on the streets are all excited about the Games. Everyone is just enjoying the experience. Personally, London has been very enjoyable.
My mother (Linda Porter) and Aunt (Norma Jenkins) have both arrived in London already and I was able to spend sometime with her. My brother's, sister's, and cousins will be coming into town in the next few days but I won't get to see them before I compete.
The Olympic Village has supplied us with everything we need and the USATF has really done a good job of making things easier for us, so we can remain focused. But I've been training really hard these last several days. I have one more hard session tomorrow and then it will be time for me to begin competing. So mostly, I'll be watching movies, watching a little bit of the track and field portion of the Games and sleeping (always good to catch up on some sleep).
That's all from London ... until next time,
