South Lyon High School football downs South Lyon East, 6-3

Local 4's Friday Football Frenzy Game of the Week was a low-scoring one between cross-town rivals.
South Lyon's team was able to edge South Lyon East, 6-3. The game was a defensive coach's dream.
South Lyon East's 4th-quarter drive was stopped when Cameron Thomas' pass was picked by South Lyon's Ben Hire.
Later in the same quarter, South Lyon was in a 4th down and 16 yards situation. Anton Skupin threw to Eric Stephenson for a 1st down. South Lyon was able to hold on in the defensive battle send their rivals home with a loss.
