Broncos players visit shooting victims
Attack left 12 dead, 58 injured
Several Denver Broncos players visited a hospital on Sunday to meet with some of the victims of the Aurora, Colo., movie theater shooting.
Among the players who visited, according to the Broncos' Twitter account, were linebacker Joe Mays, tight end Jacob Tamme, wide receiver Eric Decker, offensive tackle Chris Kuper, offensive tackle Ryan Clady and defensive end Ben Garland. Retired safety Brian Dawkins also was present.
Quarterback Peyton Manning called some of the victims and their families over the weekend as well, according to the team.
The attack on Friday during a midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" left 12 people dead and 58 injured.
