New Orleans Hornets rookie guard Austin Rivers suffered a fracture of the fourth metacarpal bone in his right hand against the Los Angeles Lakers interrupting one of the best games he's played this season and likely ending his season. The Hornets announced after the game he is expected to miss four to six weeks. The Hornets' season ends April 17. The injury occurred after Rivers was going for a steal and jammed his hand on point guard Greivis Vasquez's body. In 16 minutes, Rivers scored 10 points on five-of-six shooting before he was forced out of the game.
