The Local 4 Fighting Peacocks won the hotly contested battle of the TV stations beating WXYZ 17-3.
The Peacocks started slow allowing WXYZ to score 3 unearned runs in the bottom of the first.
But WXYZ never scored again as the Fighting Peacocks finally found their bats.
James Jackson then pitched 6 scoreless innings. First baseman Ro Coppola went 4 for 4 with 3 RBI while Left Fielder Rhonda Errer came up with a clutch hit with the bases loaded.
The Fighting Peacocks are now 8-0 on the season.
