Former NFL receiver Terrell Owens is making a small fortune mentioning companies in his Twitter feed.

According to TMZ.com, Owens, who claims he doesn’t have enough money to cover child support payments, is a Twitter feed for hire – earning between $2,800 and $6,400 per Tweet.

Some of the companies Owens has mentioned in his feed is Cutters football gloves, clothing company Old Navy, and sports social networking site Fantapper.

Owens also earned $10,000 for promoting Yahoo! Fantasy Football and $20,000 for promoting a Super Bowl party.

Owens is currently recovering from knee surgery and looking for work in the NFL. His agent told ESPN that one team is “very interested” in the veteran receiver, who turns 38 in December.
