DETROIT – Opening Day is finally here, and the Detroit Tigers are kicking off the season against the Minnesota Twins at Comerica Park.
Detroit will play behind ace David Price, who makes his first Opening Day start for the Tigers after being acquired from the Rays last July. The Twins will counter with Phil Hughes, who won both of his starts against the Tigers early in 2014.

The Tigers lost the season series to the Twins 10-9 last year, but did win the final matchup in Game 162 to clinch a fourth straight AL Central Division title.

Detroit will try to get the 2015 season off to a good start Monday. The Tigers have won three consecutive Opening Day games, including a 4-2 win over these Twins in 2013.
